Fossil and Fawn Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2023

Fossil & Fawn is the wine project of Jenny Mosbacher and Jim Fischer, who met at Whole Foods and started with 50 experimental Pinot noir cases in 2011. Now producing 5,000 cases across eight wines, their motto is "Get Weird, Suck Less," emphasizing sustainably-sourced grapes and minimal intervention winemaking. 

Their 2023 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is gorgeous expression of their brand, a balance of quality and fun. This wine grabs your attention immediately. Grounded by Oregon and French oak and elevated by fresh fruit and acidity, it's a delight to the tongue.
