Jérémie Batard is the third generation of his family to farm and make wine in the village of Maisdon-sur-Sèvre. The Batard family have long been exceptional stewards of their land, farming sustainability and without herbicides and pesticides, so it was a natural fit for Jérémie to achieve organic certification after taking over in 2009.
